Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality Physical Education lessons to secondary school students

  • Creating engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities

  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to students and parents

  • Participating in extracurricular activities, such as sports teams and clubs

  • Collaborating with other members of the Physical Education department to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and programs

  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Must provide 2 professional references.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • An enhanced DBS on updated service or willingness to get one

  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.

  • Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary school level.

  • Excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be passionate about working with young people and helping them reach their full potential.
