About Our Client: Our client, a prominent name in the retail industry, is seeking a highly skilled Pension Investment Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for the delivery of Trustee investment priorities, managing key relationships, and overseeing the implementation of investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Strategy Execution: Ensure the delivery and ongoing monitoring of the Trustee's investment strategy.
- Performance Review: Regularly review and report on investment performance and strategy.
- Governance: Maintain and update the Scheme's investment governance processes and documents.
- Meeting Management: Organize and manage agendas for Trustee's Investment Committee and Responsible Investment Committee meetings.
- Advisor and Supplier Management: Oversee external advisors and suppliers to ensure the strategic goals are met.
- Responsible Investment: Lead the delivery of the Responsible Investment strategy, including Climate Change and Stewardship reports.
- Legislation and Regulation: Keep the Trustees informed about emerging legislation and regulations, such as TCFD and TNFD.
- Reporting: Supervise investment reporting and the Scheme Report and Accounts.
- Support: Assist the company with specialist investment queries and participate in relevant company meetings.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging investment legislation
- CFA qualification
- Experience in managing investment strategies and understanding complex financial information
Budgets and Resources Management:
- Manage external consultancy fees
- Oversee investment charges
