People Data Analyst
As the data subject matter expert for people data, you will plan, design, and deliver people data analytics activities to inform decision making and draw insight from a range of internal and external sources to influence the People Strategy and drive business performance.
You will build strong internal relationships with Senior Management across the business and provide day-to-day data analysis support to key stakeholders within the People Directorate and across the organisation.
This role will work closely with data and insight team across the organisation and business partners to bring raw people data to life with the ability to tell a compelling story and enhance the reporting experience for our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- As data subject matter expert, support the Director: Culture and Talent, Director: People and People Systems Manager in the creation and implementation of a People Data and Analytics Strategy, which defines how People Management Information, reporting and analytics is used to drive strategic goals.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define KPIs and use externally recognised HR benchmarks (KPIs) across labour markets and sectors to ensure we are providing an accurate and holistic view
- As our Business Objects Product Champion, build and manage dashboards in Business Objects and Power BI making best use of automated scheduling and ensuring accuracy and relevance
Experience
- Experience as People Data Analyst
- Demonstrable experience of the use of data analytic and data insight methodologies to develop complex strategic level reporting, enabling data driven business decisions.
- Demonstrable experience of working with iTrent to understand data capture capabilities and data flows.
- Strong demonstrable experience of Business Objects with iTrent
- Experience of using multiple relational databases
- Experience of workforce planning and analytics
- Demonstrable experience in MS SharePoint Experience in MS Forms and MS Flow
- Experience of working with data marts or equivalent and SQL would be an advantage
