As a Performance and Continuous Improvement Business Partner, you will report directly to the Assistant Director of Technology, Data, and Continuous Improvement. You will lead a dedicated team, spearheading initiatives in business intelligence and Power BI, while serving as a 'changechampion' for the organisation. This role allows you to leverage your exceptional skills in data analysis, investigation, and problem-solving, whilst fostering strong relationships to drive continuous improvement across the organisation. Our Freebridge Community Housing goal is to provide affordable, safe, and quality homes for current and future generations, for those who need a place to call home. Freebridge was set up in 2006, to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk’s housing stock. We now have over 7500 properties across west and north Norfolk, in addition to building new homes for social and affordable rent, and to support those who want to move into shared home ownership. What you’ll be doing:
- Leading on business intelligence, delivering specialist advice and promoting the integration of business intelligence throughout the organisation
- Leading Power BI initiatives; building dashboards, translating data into actionable insights, maintaining existing suites and driving impact
- Investigating and evaluating our business systems with a holistic view
- Carrying out analysis and research to promote continuous improvement
- Identifying areas of operational performance of concern and providing advice, assistance, and support on performance
- Analysing data from various sources to respond to senior managers' complex requests, identifying trends, inconsistencies, and data quality issues, and performing analysis to investigate any problems
- Developing and presenting performance reports and analysis to facilitate informed and evidence-based decision making to all levels of management
- Be our 'changechampion', a central point of contact with involvement and awareness of all material change within the organisation
- Managing the input and output of the change management reporting systems for projects, preparing impact analyses and evaluating the impact of changes
- Be the organisation subject matter expert and methodology lead using Lean Six Sigma or equivalent (training provided).
- Lead and inspire the Data and Change team to achieve organisational goals and deliver high-quality results
What we’re looking for:
Essential Criteria:
- Leadership experience in managing teams and driving organisational goals
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, reporting and change management within a medium or large organisation
- Expertise in Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address cross-functional business challenges Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data or findings into straightforward, everyday language
- Ability to build and maintain strategic and collaborative relationships across the organisation
Desirable Criteria:
- Six Sigma Qualification (training provided)
