Permanents Consultant – Reed Stratford Accountancy

This is an excellent and rare opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join our successful Stratford Accountancy team who are based in our experienced and High Performing Stratford office.

I am looking for a Permanents Consultant to join our team and drive the growth of our Accountancy business. The role is focused on generating income by placing part qualified and transactional accounting candidates into permanent positions and developing new business through client sales activities across a range of industries within the East London, Romford and Ilford region. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is driven, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Engage in business development through cold calling, attending meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Win new business by offering creative and standout solutions.
  • Grow business within existing client portfolios by selling permanent solutions.
  • Market candidates proactively to potential clients.
  • Service existing business and seek new opportunities through client meetings.
  • Understand client needs to maximise success when proposing candidates.
  • Manage client expectations effectively by understanding recruitment processes and time scales.
  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
  • Source and attract candidates through advertising, job boards, social media, and referrals.
  • Register and interview candidates to assess their skills and career goals.
  • Match candidates to permanent opportunities and ensure existing assignments are filled.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment process records and comply with quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven consultative recruitment sales experience with a huge emphasis on building and maintaining strong client and candidate relationships.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills and the ability to analyse information to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence and control negotiations with clients and candidates.
  • Resilient and tenacious to achieve goals and exceed targets, driven by a desire to succeed.
