Reed are working with an award-winning law firm in Birmingham, recruiting for a Personal Assistant to support the Partner, Senior Associate and wider team. This is a rapidly growing firm that have a strong presence across several locations in the UK, being recognised for their specialist work.

Role: Legal Personal Assistant

Location: Birmingham City Centre

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000

Working hours: 09:00 – 17:30

Your responsibilities will include:

Client Liaison:

  • Effectively communicate with clients and other professionals as needed
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all clients and external visitors

Administrative Tasks:

  • Handle daily post matters promptly and accurately.
  • Organise meetings, conferences, and book appointments.
  • Produce accurate work through audio typing.

Software Competency:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office, legal case management systems).

Self-Management:

  • Manage your workload efficiently, maintaining high productivity and quality.
  • Adhere to internal administration procedures.

Organisational Skills:

  • Maintain an organised workspace and approach tasks systematically.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Foster a positive working environment by encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a legal or administrative role preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
