We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support to learners within a college environment. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, can remain calm under pressure, and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist learners with their daily duties and educational activities within the college setting.
• Maintain a calm and patient demeanor in potentially stressful situations.
• Efficiently handle multiple tasks to ensure the safety and well-being of learners.
• Communicate clearly and sensitively with learners, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all.
• Utilise fine motor skills to assist learners with various tasks.
• Respond to feedback and criticism in a constructive manner.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other members of the college community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Patience and the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
• Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Clear verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining sensitive information.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Good manual dexterity for assisting with physical tasks.
• Openness to constructive criticism and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
