Purpose of role:
Lawes is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity on behalf of our client: they're seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their expanding team in South London. In this role, you'll support the inbound New Business division and handle service and renewals for commercial policies.
This pivotal position involves revenue generation and enhancing business profitability, all while ensuring full FCA compliance across all insurance aspects. Account Handlers play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service tailored to each client's unique needs and specifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintaining precision, effectiveness, and professionalism in interactions with both clients and insurers, while executing top-notch work across various areas such as New Business, Renewals, Mid-term adjustments, Queries, Premium Finance Arrangements, and Issuing Cover Notes.
- Adhering strictly to FCA regulations and company protocols outlined in the Conduct Policies and Guides to Best Practice, ensuring all business activities meet compliance standards.
- Consistently advocating for exceptional customer care standards and fostering positive relationships with all clients, offering expert product advice and guidance.
- Proactively securing renewal business by re-broking existing policies to provide clients with the most suitable and cost-effective coverage options.
- Promoting and increasing the utilization of in-house premium finance services.
- Providing support to Account Executives as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Experience and Skills:
- Ensuring precision, efficiency, and professionalism in dealings with both clients and insurers, and delivering high-quality work across various areas including New Business, Renewals, Mid-term adjustments, Queries, Premium Finance Arrangements, and Issuing Cover Notes.

- Consistently upholding exceptional customer care standards and cultivating professional relationships with all clients, offering expert product advice and guidance.

- Promoting and encouraging the use of in-house premium finance services to enhance client convenience.
- Aiding Account Executives as needed, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.
