About the Company

Our client is an Independent Lloyd’s Broker based in Hertfordshire, who have over 100 years Market presence with a family feel and huge focus on Client satisfaction.

They are now excited to be recruiting within their Commercial Department for an Personal Account Handler to join and become an integral part of the Hitchin team.

The Role -

  • Personal Account Handler/Broker- with a good knowledge of Insurance products.
  • Dealing with individual business clients as well as corporate portfolios, with a range of premiums
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with insurers and customers alike
  • Produce correspondence to required timeframes and quality standards
  • Handle clients on a cradle to grave basis across renewals, mta's and new business.
  • Work seamlessly with your Account Executives/Directors, providing support that enhances the performance of the entire team

The ideal individual will have

  • 1 years experience in working for an Insurance Broker
  • A good understanding of Personal Lines (Motor and Household) insurance products.
  • Have the ability to efficiently manage a varied workload, whilst working towards strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Cert CII qualification (or working diligently towards it)
