Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Personal Tax Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients and ensure the highest quality of personal tax services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle complex tax issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients
• Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns
• Provide expert advice on personal tax planning and compliance
• Assist clients with HMRC enquiries and investigations
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client solutions
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Mentor and support junior tax staff
• Assist in business development activities to attract new clients
• Prepare detailed tax reports and documentation
• Handle complex tax issues and provide solutions

Skills and Qualifications:

• ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal tax
• Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
