Pharmacist

A successful, busy community pharmacy is seeking for a Pharmacist to join their supportive and driven team in Doncaster.

Situated on the main road of a Doncaster suburb, this large and highly busy branch is nestled amongst the local amenities.

A fast-paced environment, currently dispensing around 20,000 items per month. There is a large close-knit support team in place that includes another pharmacist, and an external 24-hour prescription collection point for patients.

As the pharmacist on site you will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager to deliver great service, stock control, operational and GPhC standards.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:30 / Saturday 09:00 - 17:00

Key Duties

• Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
• To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
• To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals
• To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development
