Pharmacist

A community pharmacy is seeking a driven Pharmacist to join their team in a branch at the heart of its community.

Amid a row of shops in a residential area, this steady branch is at the heart of its community.

Currently dispensing around 7,000+items per month, giving the Pharmacist an opportunity to take on a challenge and raise this number.

As well as providing excellent customer care, we support the needs and expectations of our patients through the various local, enhanced, and essential NHS services. These include NMS, DMS, CPCS and FLU as well as private services including ear care, acne, pneumococcal vaccinations, alcohol reduction and weight loss programme.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00
Saturday: 09:00-17:00

Key Duties

• Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
• To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
• To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals
• To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development
