Pharmacy and delivery collection manager
Location: Edinburgh with travel around Lothian & Borders

About the role
To lead their drivers to provide Boots legendary customer care whilst ensuring that they meet tight deadlines and cost targets. Driving great relationships while enhancing the lives of thousands of patients we care for.
Working across Lothian & Borders with hub at Gyle Centre Edinburgh and satellite locations in Falkirk & the Borders. Controlling your team of drivers and ensuring standards are high. Working within the North region, alongside 9 other dedicated Managers. You will have a coordinator working with you and service over c100 Boots stores.
- You will build great relationships with partners
- Ensure adherence to all policies e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety while Being an Ambassador for Boots and PDC always.
- You will lead a team of PDC drivers – typically 20 – 50 heads. Also manage Team Coordinator
- You will motivate, develop drivers, setting performance standards and holding individuals to account against these
- Deliver outstanding customer care across all PDC customers. Guide the service to be flexible, agile and reliable.
What you’ll need to have
- The role requires a full driving licence with less than 6 points
- The role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check
- Be able to manage and influence a team who work remotely and have the ability to engage and motivate and where necessary hold to account
- Ability to build great relationships with stakeholders
- Solid Planning and organising skills
- You can manage competing demands and respond quickly and calmly in a crisis
- Able to demonstrate a real commitment to customer care and that this is a fundamental driver in their thinking
It would be great if you also have
- Experience dealing with performance management
- Experience with multi-site management
