Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our clients development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PHP programming, experience with front-end technologies, and a strong understanding of database management. You will work on developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring their performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other team members to create and implement new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to ensure maximum performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve skills and apply new techniques.
  • Assist in the design and architecture of new projects and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (is preffered, not an absolute requirement)
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries
  • Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
