Reed Further Education is currently seeking knowledgeable Science Lecturers to join a college in Birmingham, starting from September 2024. This temporary ongoing role offering full-time hours. Ideal candidates will possess a teaching qualification and a strong background in science, with the ability to teach A level Physics

•    Hourly Rate: £26.43 - £28.67

Day-to-day of the role:

•    Deliver engaging and educational lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Physics.

•    Assess and monitor student progress, providing supportive and constructive feedback.

•    Develop and adapt teaching materials to cater to diverse student needs.

•    Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share innovative teaching practices.

•    Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of teaching standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).

•    A degree or equivalent qualification in a Science-related subject area.

•    Experience in teaching A-Level Physics.

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•    A commitment to creating an engaging and positive learning environment.
