Band 6 Physiotherapist, Community

Based in Andover, Hampshire

Full-time (37.5 hours), part-time also available

Available for an immediate start, however suitable candidates with a notice period/not available ASAP will be considered

You will join a friendly, cohesive team, which consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehab assistants, with the wider team consisting of nurses, rehabilitation and health care support workers, using an inter-professional model of working

Your role will be to provide strong holistic care to the community, working across the caseload, using clinical skills to identify the needs of patients, triage appropriately and refer/liaise with the correct services.

Patients will present with acute or chronic conditions and complex multi-system pathologies e.g. neuro, respiratory conditions, orthopaedic rehabilitation, age related deterioration and palliative care.

Specific Skills:

  • RIO knowledge and a Smart Card is desirable but training can be provided.
  • NHS experience
  • Minimum 1 year post-grad experience
  • HCPC Registration
  • Car driver
