We are looking for experienced and passionate Physiotherapist to join the dedicated Team in Cumbria. The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner providing treatment for care home staff predominantly but not limited to musculskeltal conditions. You will work collaboratively with other professions e.g, Occupational Health, HR and OD, Health and Safety and Managers to provide expert patient centred physiotherapy care. It is essential that you work in partnership with employees to achieve improved health outcomes and develop clinical pathways.

Perfect candidate will have:
Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration
- Msc Level study or equivalent
- Evidence of specialist knowledge and training
- MSK treatment experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent record keeping and administration skills
- Car driving licence and access to a car with willingness to travel across Cumbria
In this role you will:
-
- Provide a quality service by practicing as a specialist autonomous practitioner across the adult care sector working across care settings to provided targeted treatment and support to staff.
- Undertake comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and intervention, using investigative, analytical and advanced clinical reasoning skills to formulate individualised treatment programmes.
- Undertake specialist treatment interventions utilising highly developed manual skills, in depth knowledge of pain & psychological sciences, the physiology of exercise and advanced physiotherapy skills.
- Provide effective high level communication this will include complex and sensitive clinical and managerial information and may include advising other professionals.
- Work closely with training co-ordinator in health and safety by providing advice and education to staff and managers on improved practices that may prevent musculoskeletal related injuries.
- Provide expert advice regarding specialist field of practice.
- Provide expert opinion and support to staff in the management of complex patient presentations.
- Manage the administrative functions relating to the referral, treatment and discharge processes for the referral.
- Work with colleagues to identify clinical priorities and service development needs.
- , Ensure the effective use of all resources, in conjunction with colleagues
- Demonstrate negotiation skills and management of conflict including investigating concerns ensuring when appropriate lessons are learnt.
- Ensure maintenance and confidentiality of physiotherapy patient records.
