Job Title: Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist

Grade: Band 6

Trust: Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust

Location: Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital/Danesbury Rehabilitation Unit

Ward/Dept: Community Neurological Team - Stroke or Outpatient

Hours: Full time - Up to 37.5 hours per week, will accept parttime

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Staff can choose days if part time working

Flexible working pattern within core working hours. No earlier start then 8am and no later finish than 5pm.

Pay Rates - Day: £22.89

HCT have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to work in their friendly community neurological rehabilitation team. You would be working closely with your AHP colleagues to deliver high quality care to patients with neurological conditions.

This role is to support the delivery of community neuro rehabilitation to Patients within clinics and wider community settings.

Responsibilities of this job role

If you are successful in your application to this post, you will be expected to manage and deliver on the responsibilities outlined below - as well as those not included here, call today to discuss further:

  • Provide OT/PT assessment to neurological patients with diverse physical and cognitive presentations, and deliver an individualised treatment programme, in clinic, patients homes and community settings.
  • Undertake a clinical caseload to a high professional standard, using knowledge and skills from theoretical and practical experience.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

HCPC registered

Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy degree or equivalent

Experience of working with community/stroke/outpatients

UK Driving License/Use of a car for work essential

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
