Job Title: PI Insurance Broker

Salary: to £DOE

Location: Glasgow

Purpose of the role:

Due to continued growth and ongoing success, this respected specialist insurance broker is seeking an additional team member to join them and work as part of a team of experienced brokers and account executives in the provision of professional indemnity insurance to clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deal with new and existing commercialprofessional indemnity insurance risks.
  • Develop your knowledge of the PI insurance marketplace.
  • Provide quotations and renewals, deal with MTA's, market submission, presentations, etc.
  • Working independently, with wider team and alongside Account Executives and Directors.
  • Attend networking and conference events.
  • Build strong insurer and client relationships.
  • Attend client visits, where appropriate.
  • Ensure records remain compliant and up to date.
  • In line with client requirements, provide a tailored service.

Experience:

  • A track record within the commercial insurance marketplace.
  • A knowledge of, or willingness to train in the specialist PI Sector.
  • Team player who is confident, ambitious and looking to progress within the industry.
  • Confident in building relationships and negotiating with insurers and clients.
  • Strong communicationand presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to time-manage.
