Planner M&E – London - £75,000 - £90,000 & Travel

We are currently recruiting for  a MEP Planner for a D&B Contractor that delivers general construction projects within the M25. This is a permanent role where the selected candidate will be working M&E packages on apartments, education, commercial and retail projects. My client has a full order book for the next 18 months and an excellent reputation in the industry.

Construction Planner Role:

  • Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works
  • To liaise with the Client, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings
  • Assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress
  • Provide the planning service on tenders and projects
  • Attend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract
  • Monitor and prepare a progress report on the project programme
  • Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project Team
  • Consider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager.
  • Implement Company procedures
  • Appraise, co-ordinate and integrate subcontract and design programmes
  • Maintain the as-built programme

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a M&E Planner role
  • Proficient in ASTA
  • Confidence to oversee several project simultaneously
  • Excellent knowledge of the pre con phase
