Planning and Review Officer - Assessing SEND - £265 per day

Requirements:

• Extensive experience working in SEND
• Knowledge of the Children and Families Act and SEND specialist work practices
• Experience of undertaking assessments/contributing to assessments of children and young adults

The authority based in East London are seeking to appoint an Assessment, Planning and Review Officer posts who will assess the needs of children and young people with SEND aged 2-25.

You will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating the assessment and review process, meeting legislative requirements from the SEND code-of practise. We are looking for confident individuals who will be able to effectively liaise with the schools, parents/cares and young people providing guidance and support enabling them to achieve their full potential.

The integrated services are for all children and young people aged 0-25 years with a special educational need and/or disability (SEND) who are eligible for an Education Health Care Plan.
