A Planning Lawyer is sought by this Legal firm to lead and manage a newly created team and ensure that new technology or processes are adopted effectively and efficiently across the firm. This is an excellent opportunity to drive and lead adoption of new tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities of the Planning Lawyer

Offering clients a full-spectrum of expertise and handling a range of complex mandates in the residential, commercial and infrastructure and environmental and waste sectors, as well as contentious work in Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings.

Skills & Attributes of the Planning Lawyer

  • A legal qualification with 5+ years post admission experience gained within a planning team.
  • Knowledge of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997
  • Experience of planning agreements
  • Experience of highway agreements
  • Ability to handle inquiries/examinations and judicial reviews relating to planning matters
  • Knowledge and experience of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
