Planning Solicitor | NQ-3

A leading law firm in Planning & Environmental law is seeking a planning solicitor with NQ-3 PQE to join its Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

This opportunity offers you the chance to work within a firm renowned for its expertise in energy, infrastructure and real estate planning law.

About the Role

As a planning solicitor, you will have the opportunity to advise on a variety of planning and consenting matters, including:

  • Providing legal support on consenting and regulatory compliance for energy and infrastructure projects
  • Assisting in navigating complex planning regulations and securing necessary approvals
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as applications, agreements and submissions to regulatory bodies

Key Requirements

  • NQ-3 PQE in planning law, with some experience in energy and infrastructure projects (experience can be gained in a training contract or post-qualification role)
  • Solid understanding of planning and consenting matters and related legislation
  • A genuine interest in environmental law and sustainable development
  • Strong drafting and communication skills
