Role: Plant Fitter (Mobile)

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Monday – Friday  (Permanent Position)

Immediate Start

Interaction Engineering are working exclusively with a rapidly growing plant hire company based in Lincoln. Due to a growth within the business, we are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter for their workshop. This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable company that offers career growth.

The Role

  • Repair a range of plant equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Perform servicing and general repairs.
  • Diagnose and find faults.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Follow safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop
  • Log and keep records of work carried out and complete daily job sheets.

What we need from you:

  • Experience working with plant machinery, (diggers, dumpers, excavators etc)
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electric, and hydraulic diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as a team and on your own.
