Job Title: Platform Architect (DevOps)

Salary: Up to £80,000

Location: Fully remote (UK-based)

Data & AI Microsoft Solutions Partner are growing their team in the cloud Azure space. They are looking for a Platform Architect well experienced in DevOps to join them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee platform architecture for CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and other teams for seamless testing and deployment automation.
• Guide teams on CI/CD best practices, including branch strategies and environment management.
• Lead and support the CI/CD team with deployment tasks.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in designing and developing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in container orchestration, configuration management, scripting (Bash/Python), and source control (Git).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana) and Azure cloud CI/CD toolsets.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Familiarity with unit and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proven experience as a Platform Architect with a CI/CD focus.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud-native CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions).
• Managing and deploying microservices architectures.
• Security integration in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Certifications in Agile, DevOps, or CI/CD tools and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Service Mesh architectures (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
