Platform Automation Engineer

Our client, a fleet operator in the UK are looking for a Platform Automation Engineer to join their team in Bristol. If interested, please see the details below:
Overview: This team is at the heart of their digital transformation strategy and is responsible for ensuring that the cloud platform is always available to meet the needs of their customers. Continuous improvement is a key ethos of the team and is organised into run and build squads, responsible for day to day monitoring / support and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance and optimize the services they offer. Both teams operate in a fully agile way (& rotated)

Location: Bristol | 3 days onsite
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 + 15% bonus + good pension + Share options + private health + menu of benefits
Key Responsibilities: Support, maintain and improve highly scalable and reliable cloud platform infrastructure services, alongside day to day operations of the Cloud Platform and be accountable for its availability.
Technology stack:
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS (Azure is OK)
- Command line experience with RHEL
- Comfortable scripting with one or more of the following: Java, Perl, Python or Shell (they use Python most often)
- Exposure to Agile software development methodologies (Automation, CI/CD etc)
- Automating configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet or Salt)
- Linux admin experience (preferably Red Hat) or similar
Nice to have (Not essential)
- Automating delivery of Infrastructure as Code e.g. Terraform
- Experience with container technologies using Docker and Kubernetes
