Plumbing & Gas Lecturer

• Hourly Rate: £30-35
• Location: East London
• Job Type: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract until June 2025

We are seeking a qualified Plumbing & Gas Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and gas, combined with teaching experience and industry knowledge. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to the development of skilled professionals in this field.

• Delivering structured lectures and practical sessions in plumbing and gas to a diverse range of students.
• Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards and learning outcomes.
• Assessing and evaluating student progress through assignments, tests, and practical assessments.
• Providing individual support and feedback to students to facilitate their academic and professional growth.
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve course content and teaching methods.
• Staying current with industry trends and advancements to ensure that teaching material is relevant and up-to-date.

• A qualified teacher with PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification.
• LV2 & LV3 Plumbing qualifications.
• LV3 Gas qualifications.
• IV/IQA qualifications.
• Assessor Award Level 3.
• Proven teaching experience.
• Substantial industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and staff at all levels.

• Experience of working in a Further Education (FE) College setting.
• Familiarity with the educational establishment environment.
