About The Role

OCS is currently recruiting for a Porter Operative to join our passionate and driven team in Belfast on a permanent basis!

Working within a Large Team, you will be responsible for delivering all Porterage duties across the locations and supporting with external cleaning and PPM delivery. Progression opportunities available within Facilities Management services. Apprenticeships opportunities available to support progression.

You will be working Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 20:00, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• External Grounds Maintenance duties including car parks, pathways, waste areas, etc.
• Pre-planned maintenance works, including deep cleaning tasks
• Porterage tasks such as moving furniture and equipment both on sites and between sites.
• Room set-ups for meetings and conferences
• Movement of heavy packages and deliveries
• Small and large scale office moves and reconfiguration
• Movement of waste to external containers
• Cleaning of all areas as required, to support cleaning teams and also completion of cleaning PPMs, such as carpet cleaning etc.
• Support with mail services as required
• Any other duties as required to support FM service delivery

About You:

• You must be customer-driven, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Communication skills are key, in order to ensure successful service delivery
• Technology skills are beneficial as the role requires the use of mobile telephone and apps
