Front of House PorterHCA UK Canary WharfPermanent, Full time, 40 hours per week

Shits: Mon - Sunday varying from 7am - 8:30pm.

Working 5 days off 2 days on a rota basis.

We’re looking for a Porter to join our Front of House team based at our new opening in Canary Wharf. This role is vital in providing a high quality Porter and Security service to all departments, staff, patients and visitors.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide a porter/security service to include delivery/collection of mail, linen, drugs and other items as requested.
  • To assist patients with luggage and to escort them to their rooms
  • To check gauges and storage of gas bottles, changing them as necessary
  • To Inform patients of room facilities during room orientation

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous Porter experience is essential, ideally within healthcare
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
