Portfolio Administrator

Reed Financial Services are seeking a Portfolio Administrator to join a nationwide firm's Fund Research team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. The role is based in Ipswich, with responsibilities supporting the team in London. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support for their Multi-Manager and Portfolio Management Services, ensuring efficient operation and client satisfaction.
Day to Day of the Role:- Onboard new clients to the Multi-Manager and Portfolio Management Services (PMS).
- Monitor cash transactions and maintain the Multi-Manager team inbox, addressing any enquiries.
- Place trades as required and handle queries from Investment Managers.
- Produce sample portfolios and presentations for both prospective and existing clients.
- Assist with general administrative tasks for the team, including updating weekly and monthly reports.
- Prepare data for team and board meetings, as well as arrange bulk journals for quarterly management fee rounds.
- Answer calls and provide excellent customer service.
- A good standard of education (A-level or equivalent).
- Previous administration experience, preferably within a financial setting.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort with handling numerical data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A high degree of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A willingness to undertake the CISI Level 3 UK Financial Regulation exam is desirable.
