Powder Coater

Adept are delighted to be working with a reputable Medical Manufacturing company in Nottingham who are looking to recruit a Powder Coater/ Painter on a temporary basis with scope for this role to turn permanent.

Our client supply into a very niche industry and pride themselves in their attention to care and quality this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right attitude to get stuck into something new as no previous Powder Coating experience is required however it is certainly desired.

SHIFTS - Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm - Early finish on a Friday!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and smooth out welds.
• Degrease mild steel fabrications.
• Clean to remove oils, grease, and contaminants.
• Prepare for powder coating.
• Sandblast or abrade surface.
• Apply conversion coating if needed.
• Ensure surface is clean and dry.
• Apply powder evenly using electrostatic spray.
• Cure in oven at specified temperature and time.
• Paint fabrications (if needed)
• Apply primer and paint.
• Use thin, even coats and allow drying time.

Experience/ Qualifications Required

• Must come from a Sheet Metal and Fabrication background
