POWER PLATFORM DEVELOPER

INTIIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT

HYBRID - 1 DAY ONSITE PER WEEK

£550 - £650 INSIDE IR35

This role is a combined Developer and Technical SME role, which will be responsible for delivering bespoke org-wide solutions, as well as supporting the clients community of Makers in building personal productivity apps.

The Power Platform is a key area of growth for the client, as they have a growing backlog of solutions that can help them achieve their strategic goals. This is a role for an experienced Power Platform developer who is ready to take on a challenge.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Developing org-wide solutions using Power Platform, with a focus on Model Driven and Canvas Applications, as well as Power Automate Cloud Flows
  • Supporting the maker community in building their own applications, providing technical guidance and best practice techniques
  • Ensuring the solutions are simple, structured, and not over-engineered or complex
  • Keeping up to date with the evolution of Power Platform and evaluating risks and opportunities of new developments
  • Knowledge sharing across the clients business, especially with the Power Platform team/community to foster innovation and collaboration

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential

  • Functional and technical knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Pages and Power BI)
  • Experience of code-based development (JavaScript, JSON, C#, etc.)
  • Knowledge of extending the use of Power Platform, using code-based development techniques and custom components
  • Ability to develop Digital solutions, using best practice approaches (Global variables, Reusable components, Solution Design, Business Rules, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Eco-System (Entra, Blob Storage, App Insights etc.)
  • Understanding of ALM process and deployment procedures, including solution-based deployment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to define solutions to business problems
  • Experience of working in agile software development methodologies
