PQ Management Accountant

This is an exciting and growing business who need to recruit a PQ Management Accountant to join the existing finance team, where you will look to qualify and be mentored by an impressive leadership team. This is an entrepreneurial, yet structured business and has doubled in size in the last 3 years.

Job Responsibilities for the PQ Management Accountant:

• Management of reconciliations covering bank and control accounts alongside weekly and monthly cashflow position.

• Prepayments/Accruals

• Move towards cohesive reporting processes across all sites.

• Refine the current purchase order process and current controls, allowing for a streamlined system across all departments.

• Management of the fixed asset register, covering all depreciations and values

• Development of stock controls and processes, particularly around levels and movements

• Development of full KPI suite around customer trends, product mix, profitability, and stock levels

• Report with accuracy the working capital position and cashflow projections.

This role will suit someone who is hands on person who needs to get involved at the transactional level, yet next minute speak to the Directors and Operational managers within the business. You will be confident and approachable and can easily develop gravitas with the figures/numbers, adding value to the finance function but also the wider business.
