We are looking for a Practice Accountant to join our expanding Noth London-based accountancy and corporate service practice. We provide a friendly, flexible, and proactive all-year-round service to small to medium businesses and individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of Accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
• Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Sole Traders, Rental Property Income, Individuals and Partnerships
• Preparation and review of Corporation Tax Computations for Limited Companies
• Preparation, review, and submission of VAT Returns
• Management and guidance of junior staff
• Dealing with client queries via phone, email, and in person
• Provision of client-focused support including client meetings
• Plus, other duties consistent with the grade as directed.

What we need from you:

• ACCA/ICAEW qualified or equivalent or qualified by experience. Part qualified with relevant experience will be considered.
• Recent and relevant experience of at least 3 years in practice.
• Current working knowledge of UK tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small business
• Strong knowledge of computerised accounting systems
• Experience in using Xero, Sage, and TaxCalc is desirable.

This opportunity is based near Finchley Central and can be a hybrid position.

Salary between £40,000 to £50,000 depending on the experience and qualification. Option to either work full-time, or part-time (minimum 24 hours a week)

Holiday: 25 days per annum (full-time), excluding bank holidays.
