A modern and forward thinking Accountancy practice in Mansfield are looking to recruit permanently into a Practice Accountant job vacancy and they are approaching this piece of recruitment with a very open mind in terms of the type of level of experience they recruit. Anyone from Semi Senior to Manager level will be considered for this role and previous experience of working for an accountancy firm is preferred.

This is a crucial role for the firm and career development and progression is available for the right person.

The role would see you working in a friendly team, with the ability to work independently, but be well-supported by management and colleagues where needed.

This firm offer good benefits, including:

  • 35 hour week
  • Flexible Hours
  • 34 days annual leave PA. but holidays can be negotiated separately, dependent on what you are used to
  • 10 additional flexi days can be taken using built up flexi time
  • 7% employer pension contribution.

The main job duties include: 

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies,

• Preparation of draft corporate tax computations,

• Preparation of management accounts,

• Prioritising workload effectively to meet set deadlines,

• Working with varying software packages including Sage, Xero & Quickbooks,

• Able to carry out ad-hoc assignments, when required.
