Practice Accountant

A local accountancy practice with a strong local portfolio of clients they have developed long term trusted relationships with are looking to appoint a Practice Accountant to their offices in South Shields.

Working as part of a small accounting team you will have responsibility for your own client portfolio of small Limited companies as well as sole traders and partnerships. This will entail a client facing role where you will be first point of contact for your clients queries. Offering great exposure to those seeking more client exposure you will also finalise year end statutory accounts along with completion of personal tax returns, corporation tax and VAT returns.

Working with a range of software including Quickbooks and Sage we are seeking an Accountant with experience gained in a UK accounting firm. The position is open to those either qualified or qualified by experience.

The position is office based with flexible start and finish times. There is ample free parking and the team will welcome you into their office, so it will not take long for you to settle and fee like you are part of their family.
