A values based firm of accountants situated in South Tyneside are looking to appoint an Accountant, either part or fully qualified in either ACCA/AAT or equivalent to support the team with their successfully growing portfolio of clients requiring their accountancy services.

As a Practice Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing statutory accounts and CT600's for a mixed portfolio of clients
  • Preparing Partnerships, Sole trader accounts and self assessment tax returns
  • Working with cloud accounting systems Xero, QB and Freeagent to support your clients and streamlining their businesses
  • Working with more junior members in the team with their accounts work

We are looking for an Accountant or Accounts Assistant with a minimum of 2- 3 years experience gained from within an accounting practice. You will be able to prepare a set of statutory accounts for review as a minimum.
