Role Summary
Our client, a a market leading supplier of ICP & EV Infrastructure is on the look out to add an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to their team. This client has gone through huge growth over the past 6 years and are on course to add another 60 heads to their team in 2024. You will be a focal point for both current and new customers.
Duties
- Attend pot- award project hand overs from the tendering team, accepting responsibility for the project going into pre-construction, understanding the commercial and design requirements.
- Instructing and coordinating designs throughout the pre-construction program, designs will vary from ICP, EV, Civils and Electrical.
- Reviewing design received, ensuring they are feasible, designed as instructed and commercially viable against the original budget.
- Attend Client meetings as and when required.
- Issuing RFIs to customers in order to obtain all required information to enable the pre-construction design to commence.
- Apply for MPANs and unmetered supply form where necessary.
- Updating trackers and project folders and communicating any changes set by key stakeholders.
- Assist the Project Managers with pre-construction and construction design queries/changes & instructing design variations as required.
- Liaising with design teams and DNOs/IDNOs in order to progress the projects.
Requirements
- An understanding of the ICP / EV / HV sector is advantageous
- Understanding of DNO / IDNO requirements for installations up to 11KV.
- Knowledge of design and pre-construction processes
- Must be well organised and able to manage multiple projects & workloads.
- Ability to adapt and open to change.
- Experience in updating trackers.
