Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality and efficiency? We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Press Operator to join our dynamic client and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

As a Press Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and accurate operation of our line machinery.

This role is working on day shift, so will be covering the early/late shift, hours can be agreed with the successful candidate but is likely to be 8-4,9-5 or 10-6.

Key Performance Indicators:

Performance Excellence:
  • Maximize packing efficiency while maintaining top-tier packing accuracy.
Quality Focus:
  • Collaborate on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA's) to enhance quality.
  • Contribute to Defective Labels Report (DLR) reporting for continuous improvement.
  • Complete quality control assessments to uphold our stringent quality standards.
Housekeeping Champion:
  • Uphold cleaning standards to ensure a pristine working environment.
  • Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) checks to ensure machinery's optimal condition.
  • Adhere to 5S principles for workplace organization and cleanliness.
  • Conduct safety checks and promptly report near misses for a secure workplace.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in mounting and demounting plates.
  • Familiarity with label test procedures and frequencies.
  • Skilled in operating packing line machinery.
  • Capable of packing printed labels according to specifications.
  • Competent in DSI scanning for packing labels.

Requirements:
  • Pack labels meticulously to ensure they're in prime condition for shipping.
  • Accurately label individual roll cores and cartons for traceability.
  • Conduct end-of-manufacture quality control checks to verify top-quality products.
  • Maintain the working environment to meet established standards.
  • Display a desire to learn new skills and grow within the role.
