Pre Sales Cyber Security Consultant

Chippenham – Hybrid

 £55k - £60k (£73.5k - £80k OTE)

Within this role the successful candidate will build, influence and challenge a customer’s cyber security strategy and services, lead client pitches and contribute to delivering end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customers challenges and provide solutions
  • Support pre-sales engagements through gaining an understanding of client requirements and in technical pre-sales discussions, ensuring the solution and/or service meets client expectations
  • Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity, the current threat landscape and keep up to date with trends and innovations in the security industry
  • Deliver strategic whiteboarding sessions to develop and implement security strategies
  • Ensure a natural focus sits in protecting an organization's technology infrastructure and data from cyber-attacks

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years in Pre-Sales or similar role within an MSP/Reseller organisation.
  • Previous experience being part of or working with incident response teams would be beneficial
  • Good understanding of incident response stages and handling preferred o Knowledge and/or experience using endpoint detection and threat management products
  • Good knowledge and awareness of global Information Security Standards including ISO27002, CIS, NCSE CAF, NIST CSF
  • Advisor in advanced cybersecurity services including SSE, SASE, SIEM, MDR/EDR
  • Experience working with security frameworks and/or market leading solutions (preferred)
  • Experience in recommending and designing solutions to meet compliance guidelines
