Our well-established client based in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire are seeking an experienced Punch Press/Press Brake Operative to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of setting and operating a punch press machine as well as other workshop duties.

Responsibilities

  • Setting of the Punch Press/Press Brake machine
  • Operating different types of machinery throughout the workshop
  • Be a trusted member of the team by working with minimal day to day supervision
  • Have good oral & written communications skills
  • Ensure company health and safety guidelines are followed

Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience setting & operating an Punch Press/Press Brake machine
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as an individual and manage time effectively
  • Previous experience within a similar role working in an industrial environment

Working Hours & Pay

Monday / Friday

07:00 until 15:30

£15.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
