Hours: 38.5 hours pw: Mon to Wed 8 am to 4.30 pm, Thurs 8 am to 4 pm, Fri 8 am to 3.30 pm

Our client SMTGB is looking for Preventative Maintenance Engineers to join their team. You role would be to keep our client's customer’s Volvo construction equipment running smoothly and efficiently by carrying out essential planned maintenance and servicing.

A field-based role, you’ll be working on large mobile plant such as wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment, carrying out anything from a 500-hour service on an excavator to a routine check-up on a small digger.

Requirements:

  • You must hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or Land-based engineering
  • Mechanical experience working on heavy plant machinery
  • Ability to work without supervision to a high standard of ability
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship
