Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Energy Markets Pricing Analyst to join our research team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analysing and developing pricing strategies, market insights, and comprehensive price assessments across energy markets, with a particular focus on the oil and refined product complex.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous analysis of price consistency between crack spreads and outright prices in oil markets.
• Verify and validate price markers, premia, and timing accuracy for market assessments.
• Perform detailed analysis of clean fuel arbitrage opportunities and assessments.
• Evaluate landed costs of crude oils and key feedstocks, providing in-depth market insights.
• Develop and advise on clean fuel price build-up mechanisms for various export hubs.
• Maintain and update long-term price forecasting models, continuously adapting to market balance evolutions.
• Produce comprehensive market reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with trading, risk management, and strategy teams to provide actionable pricing intelligence.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in energy products markets
• Strong foundational knowledge of global oil and refined products markets and/or power and gas markets
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex market dynamics
