Pricing Analytics Lead

This is the chance to join an innovative insure-tech start-up dedicated to transforming the insurance industry through cutting-edge technology and data-driven solutions. You'll be joining as a the Pricing Lead, reporting directly to the CEO, and responsible for building out a best-in-class pricing function and advanced pricing models. It's the chance to play a lead role in a dynamic team that's redefining the future of insurance.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain advanced pricing models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for pricing optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, underwriting, and data science to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform pricing decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing models, making adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in pricing analytics, predictive modeling, or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages, ideally in Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and big data technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
