LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support to a little girl in their nursery class with speech and language difficulties, at an outstanding Primary School in the Carnforth area.

This new TA2 role is a Part-time position, working Monday-Thursday 0930-1230.

This role is to start ASAP and will run through until the end of the summer term.

The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and experience of Makaton would be desirable.

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

• Monitoring targets for future progress

• Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers

• Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils

• Monitoring pupils progress in reference to the school’s practice

• Excellent behaviour management skills
