As a Primary Early Careers Teacher in Tower Hamlets, East London, you will be in line with the School Mission Statement, to be responsible for the welfare and education of a designated group of pupils in accordance with the requirements of the National curriculum, the school's aims, objectives and schemes of work and any policies of the Governing Body.

Primary Early Careers Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out teaching duties in accordance with the school's schemes of work, National Curriculum and designated subject areas.
  • Liaise with colleagues to deliver units of work in a collaborative way in accordance with the School Development Plan.
  • Work with teaching assistants, the SENCO and the inclusion team.
  • Set challenging targets for pupil attainment levels.
  • Be an exemplar teacher.
  • Share in the responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils.
