Exciting Opportunity for a Highly Qualified HLTA at a primary school based in, Featherstone.

Are you a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking a fulfilling opportunity in a vibrant primary school? Look no further! A primary school, located on the outskirts of Wakefield in Featherstone, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HLTA to join their enthusiastic team as soon as possible.

The Role: As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process. Working closely with teachers and other staff members, you will have the opportunity to lead classes, provide targeted interventions, and contribute to the overall development of our students. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group sessions and whole-class activities as directed by the class teacher.
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and groups to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working as a HLTA in a primary school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Passion for supporting the academic and personal development of students.
