Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide PPA cover, sickness cover, lead classes and lead interventions across all Key Stages at a vibrant primary school. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about contributing to the educational development of children and is available to work on for a full week.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity of education during teacher absence.
• Supporting pupils’ learning activities across
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and contributing to the planning and preparation of activities.
• Providing feedback to teachers on pupils’ progress and any issues encountered.
• Assisting with the development of resources and learning materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with across all Key Stages.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and PPA cover requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively and maintain discipline.
• Flexibility to work the required days and adapt to the needs of the school.
