Job Title: Primary Learning Support Assistant

Location: Northampton, NN1

Pay: £85-£95 per day

Job Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Job Description:

TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Northampton, NN1. This is a full-time role, perfect for someone eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide learning support across various classes within the school.
  • Work on a 1-to-1 basis or with small groups of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including but not limited to ASD and ADHD.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting resources to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible educational experience for students.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with younger people is essential. Experience with SEN, whether personal or professional, is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for working with children.
  • Qualifications: An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Attributes: A positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to improving the educational outcomes for all students.
