Role Overview: As our SENCO, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students with special educational needs receive the support they need to succeed. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create tailored interventions and strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess students’ SEN requirements.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on SEN best practices.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals.
  • Monitor progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
  • Champion inclusion and promote a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
